With the NBA All Star 2018 right around the corner, Jordan brand commemorates the 30-year-anniversary of that classic moment when Michael Jordan launched from the free throw line during the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest, That’s 15 feet horizontally from the line to the front of the backboard. He stepped on that line when he took off, so his horizontal flight could have measured around 11 feet considering his wing span. This silhouette of the Air Jordan 3 White Cement is retros back again with this Dunk contest PE back in the 80s. Remasterd in the same basic overall OG version, an icy sole with a red stripe depicting the free throw line from where the GOAT took off his leap for the winning dunk as added feature for this 2018 release.
More details for this release includes the pull tabs having the “3:51” and “147” on the tongue. These numbers represent the shot-clock frame on his picture perfect dunk and the final total score on Jordan’s spectacular dunks in that AS Dunk contest.
