The Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Banned’ returns next week 09/03/2016.
The Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Banned’ or what later was commonly called the ‘BREDs’ colorway. BRED is a short form of Black and Red and it is the combination on NBA’s Chicago Bills colors. This is one of the most awaited release of the classic Air Jordan 1 High OG and drops this Saturday, Sept 3, 2016. It is widely available, however this colorway has seen a lot of demand and gets sold out pretty fast.
This was the controversial pair which paid a hefty $5K NBA fine per game which catapulted to its popularity in the 80s when Michael Jordan and his Chicago Bulls were the team to beat in the league. The previous retro of this silhouette back in 2011 had an ‘X’ on the back of the heel. As seen in the samples, this ‘X’ mark will not be in this release
The shoes’ upper comes in a full premium leather contrasted by the white midsole and varsity-red outsole. Some of the notable features to this release includes ‘Nike Air’ branding on the tongue. The pair will come unlaced in the box and with included two pairs of flat laces: white and red.
You can cop the pair online from the following online shops:
MJ and his signature sneaker series are no strangers to global competition.
Since his game-winning shot that brought championship glory to North Carolina, Michael Jordan has been at the forefront of basketball consciousness. He took the court in 1985 wearing the original Air Jordan I, simultaneously breaking league rules and his opponents’ will while capturing the imagination of fans worldwide.
Dropping this Saturday, July 30 is another hue of the famous Jordan 1 High KO ‘Pure Platinum’. This time around the silhouette will be donned in upper with quilted suede material and the KO canvass in white-metallic or grey colored. With this quilt pattern it somehow came from the Just Don look. But the with the simple color combination this KO pair look subtle yet stylish in the summer.
Jordan fans are waiting for the Banned 1 release but for now. I guess everyone can settle for this Jordan 1 release to add to their rotation. These pairs wont come only in mens sizing
